Drive Your Students Safe with an MPV
Because safety is priority number one, MPVs are an excellent solution to your transportation needs. Multi-Purpose Vehicles are built to meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and Regulations (FMVSS).
What is an MPV?
A Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) is a direct replacement for Suburban-Sport Utility Vehicles and Vans that school districts and child care centers frequently use.
The early models of people-movers (MPVs) with seating for seven people were large vans and trucks. These were usually pickup trucks with extended cabs and extra seating under a cover. The first van-style seven-seaters were called MPVs. The term presumably comes from “minivan people-mover” although Mazda was the first company to offer a model labeled the MPV, a minivan designed from the ground up for the American market.
