In honor of the recent Bus Driver Appreciation Day, we wanted to take a moment to thank our local school bus drivers for their daily commitment to students and districts. The last couple of years have been challenging, to say the least and we are so appreciative of your willingness to serve our communities. A special thank you to those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. During the tragic Marshall Fire in Colorado, specifically in the Boulder County School District, the district’s very own bus drivers answered the call on December 30, 2021. Dispatched from the BVSD Transportation Department, school bus drivers drove through dangerous fire areas to help those in harm’s way, many while their own homes were at risk.

This is not the first time these drivers have gone above the call of duty. In the past many have assisted during major snowstorms by picking up stranded drivers as well helping with evacuations during a flood a few years ago.
Those of us here at Colorado/West Equipment, Inc. and Nebraska/Central Equipment, Inc. thank you for your ongoing service and commitment to safely transporting our children to school and home daily. Our job of providing buses for passenger needs would not be possible without all of you!
